About the Role

We are seeking a Remote Workup & Settlement Attorney to join Keller Postman, a firm dedicated to achieving exceptional results for our clients. As a Remote Workup & Settlement Attorney, you will play a crucial role in managing cases eligible for settlements in large mass torts. You will work closely with our case management team to ensure that every detail is meticulously handled, allowing us to drive innovation in the practice of law and pursue excellence in everything we do.

What You'll Do

  • Collaborate with the case management team to evaluate decision points for case progression, ensuring all necessary documentation is reviewed.
  • Manage client interactions during the offer process for settlement offers generated by the case management team, providing clear communication and support.
  • Prepare cases for settlement, guiding clients through the offer process with diligence and care.
  • Participate in the elevation rotation regularly, contributing to the overall success of the legal team.
  • Maintain detailed records of case progress and client interactions to facilitate smooth transitions throughout the settlement process.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • 2-5 years of experience as an attorney, preferably in mass torts or related fields.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, essential for evaluating case documentation.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively manage client interactions.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in class actions, arbitrations, or multidistrict litigation.
  • Familiarity with legal case management software.
  • Prior experience in client-facing roles.
