About the Role
Join GoFundMe as a Remote Web Project Management Manager and help us make a difference! In this role, you will play a crucial part in executing our web roadmap, working closely with the Director of Growth. Your efforts will directly contribute to our mission of helping people support each other through our platform. What You'll Do
- Execute the web roadmap defined by Growth leadership, including theme rebuilds, site redesigns, and new content launches.
- Manage ongoing content updates and conversion rate optimization (CRO) projects to enhance user experience.
- Translate strategy and requirements from Directors of Growth into detailed project plans, timelines, milestones, and task breakdowns.
- Maintain clear ownership and delivery expectations while managing scope, dependencies, risks, and tradeoffs.
- Coordinate the day-to-day work of web developers and designers, ensuring alignment on priorities, requirements, and deadlines.
- Utilize ClickUp as the system of record for web execution, creating and maintaining project plans, task workflows, and dashboards.
- Ensure consistent project hygiene and documentation to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
- Balance team capacity across multiple concurrent initiatives to optimize productivity and efficiency.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in project management, preferably in web or digital environments.
- Strong understanding of web development processes, design principles, and content management.
- Proficiency in project management tools, particularly ClickUp or similar platforms.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience in conversion rate optimization (CRO) and user experience best practices is a plus.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practices.
- Experience in the nonprofit or social impact sector.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and digital marketing strategies.
