About the Role

We are seeking a talented Remote User Interface / Visual Designer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to create engaging and user-friendly designs that enhance the overall user experience. As a Remote User Interface / Visual Designer, you will work closely with product managers and developers to deliver high-quality design solutions that align with our brand and user needs.

What You'll Do

  • Design clear, cohesive icons and icon sets that align with the product’s brand and system.
  • Create 2D illustrations to support the interface, including empty states and onboarding experiences.
  • Produce on-brand marketing assets for digital and print, such as social graphics, newsletters, and campaign materials.
  • Write and refine short in-product copy to keep interfaces clear and engaging.
  • Conduct user research to inform design choices and ensure evidence-based design practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile and Lean Startup methodologies.
  • Utilize tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite to create high-fidelity prototypes and design systems.
  • Participate in usability testing to gather feedback and iterate on designs.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a User Interface / Visual Designer or similar role.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing your design work and process.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Experience with UX/UI design principles and best practices.
  • Familiarity with Agile and Lean methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
  • Passion for user-centered design and continuous learning.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with accessibility standards in design.
  • Knowledge of front-end development (HTML/CSS).
