About the Role

We are looking for a Remote Staff Software Engineer to join our innovative team at Acquia. As a Remote Staff Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of digital customer experiences. You will collaborate with designers and engineers to implement cutting-edge solutions using technologies like Angular and Figma.

What You'll Do

  • Work in a highly collaborative environment with front and back-end engineers, product managers, and designers.
  • Lead cross-team front-end technical strategy to unify Acquia products under a single portal.
  • Contribute to system architecture discussions, especially regarding micro frontends.
  • Mentor other frontend engineers, fostering a culture of learning and collaboration.
  • Design and develop unit and system tests to ensure high-quality software delivery.
  • Produce comprehensive software documentation for both public and internal use.
  • Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, from planning to deployment.
  • Own and operate the services you build, ensuring operational robustness and security hygiene.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a software engineer, with a focus on frontend technologies.
  • Proficiency in Angular or similar front-end frameworks.
  • Experience collaborating with designers using tools like Figma.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions.
  • Passion for creating and maintaining high-quality software.
