About the Role

We are seeking a talented Remote Software Engineer III to join our dynamic team at MeridianLink. In this role, you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of our software products, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and performance. As a Remote Software Engineer III, you will play a crucial role in the full development life cycle, from requirements analysis to deployment and monitoring.

What You'll Do

  • Design, develop, document, test, deploy, monitor, and debug new and existing software systems and applications.
  • Serve as a technical expert on development projects, providing guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
  • Create architectural approaches for software design and implementation to guide the development team.
  • Ensure security, performance, manageability, quality, and consistency of the software architecture across the system.
  • Conduct research, gather information, interpret data, and identify requirements to create effective solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 4-6 years of experience in software development, with a focus on distributed web applications.
  • Proficiency in modern front-end frameworks, preferably React.
  • 5+ years of experience with .NET framework, Node.js, and C#.
  • Experience with Test Driven Development and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to devise solutions based on limited information.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with cloud technologies, particularly Azure.
  • Familiarity with database design and tuning.
  • Knowledge of VB.NET is a plus.
