About the Role

We are seeking a talented Remote Social Media Analyst to join our dynamic team at Digital Media Management (DMM). As a Social Media Analyst, you will play a crucial role in analyzing social media campaign data across various platforms and tools. Your insights will help shape our social strategies and drive impactful marketing campaigns. This position is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere in the United States.

What You'll Do

  • Review social media campaign performance and produce, visualize, and analyze metrics to make data-driven recommendations.
  • Source and identify social media trends, applying them to enhance our campaigns.
  • Dive into user engagement and conversion data to assess the effectiveness of copy and community management tactics.
  • Develop a strong understanding of project-based audience targets and recommend strategies to engage them effectively.
  • Research online fan communities and provide actionable insights on engagement strategies.
  • Construct detailed reports and visual presentations based on data observations.
  • Build dashboards that facilitate effective campaign reporting and tactical learnings.
  • Collaborate closely with accounts, strategy, partnerships, and creative teams to support their work with data-driven insights.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a social media analytics role, preferably within the entertainment industry.
  • Strong understanding of all social networks and the marketing and digital advertising landscape.
  • Ability to provide examples of using social media analytics to enhance campaign performance.
  • Exceptional project management skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Experience with creative storytelling and synthesizing channel insights to bring consumer data to life.
  • Proficiency in conducting data analysis, including data cleanup and normalization.
  • Digital media agency experience is strongly preferred.

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with various social media analytics tools and platforms.
  • Experience in developing and presenting insights to stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of SEO and content marketing strategies.
