Remote Senior Software Engineer - AI/​ML Focus

About the Role

We're hiring a Remote Senior Software Engineer to join our innovative team at Fluxon. As a key player in our product development process, you will lead the design, development, and deployment of AI-powered applications that can transform industries. What You'll Do

• Design and implement end-to-end AI systems, focusing on data ingestion, preprocessing, model inference, and output structuring.
• Develop and optimize Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems and Agentic workflows using frameworks such as LangChain and Genkit.
• Deploy machine learning models to production environments on platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure, utilizing Docker and Kubernetes for scalability.
• Implement monitoring and evaluation feedback loops to assess model performance, ensuring accuracy and relevance in production.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers and product managers, to integrate AI capabilities into core products.
• Fine-tune open-source models (e.g., Llama, Mistral) for specific tasks, optimizing for latency and cost-effectiveness.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a software engineer, with a focus on AI/ML technologies.
• Proficient in Python; experience with Java, C++, Scala, or R is a plus.
• Strong understanding of AI/ML frameworks and tools.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for deployment.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Familiarity with generative AI technologies.
• Knowledge of data engineering practices.
