About the Role

We are seeking a Remote Senior Software Developer to join our innovative team at CapIntel. In this role, you will be instrumental in building and delivering backend solutions that enable successful client onboarding and integrations. As a Remote Senior Software Developer, you'll work hands-on designing and implementing backend services that enhance the user experience for financial advisors across North America.

What You'll Do

• Design and implement scalable backend services that support client onboarding and integrations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
• Participate in code reviews to uphold coding standards and best practices.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to apply them in your work.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a software developer, with a focus on backend development.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Strong understanding of database management systems (SQL and NoSQL).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a remote environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Experience in the financial services industry is a plus.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Experience with CI/CD tools and practices.
• Knowledge of front-end technologies (React, Angular) is a plus.
