Remote Senior Sales Engineer - APAC Region

About the Role

We're hiring a Remote Senior Sales Engineer to join our dynamic team at Alpaca. As a key member of our sales team, you will leverage your technical expertise to support our sales process and expand our enterprise partner base in the APAC region. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about financial technology and wants to make a significant impact in a rapidly growing company.

What You'll Do

• Serve as the product and technical subject matter expert, capable of thoroughly understanding and articulating all aspects of the Alpaca platform to diverse audiences and stakeholders.
• Act as a regional market-specific expert in regulations, compliance, and jurisdictional requirements.
• Collaborate closely with the Sales and Customer Success teams, providing essential technical advisory and product expertise throughout the client lifecycle.
• Present compelling product and technical use cases to prospective clients, while building trust and confidence in Alpaca's technical capabilities.
• Translate complex business and technical requirements into clear, simple solutions for our clients.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a sales engineering or technical sales role, preferably in the financial technology or crypto industry.
• Strong understanding of APIs and technical integrations.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with senior leaders and C-level executives.
• Proven track record of supporting sales processes and driving revenue growth.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a global team.

Nice to Have

• Experience with open-source contributions.
• Familiarity with trading platforms and brokerage services.
• Knowledge of financial regulations in the APAC region.
