About the Role

We're hiring a Remote Senior Mobile iOS Engineer to join our dynamic team at Yassir. As a leading super app in the Maghreb region, we are revolutionizing daily services and expanding our reach across multiple countries. In this role, you'll leverage your expertise in iOS development to create high-quality mobile applications that integrate seamlessly with our backend services. You will be part of a collaborative engineering team, dedicated to delivering innovative solutions that enhance the user experience.

What You'll Do

• Design and build mobile applications for iOS, ensuring performance, quality, and responsiveness.
• Collaborate with a team to define, design, and ship new features, contributing to the overall product vision.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks, fix bugs, and maintain code quality through best practices.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions, bringing fresh ideas to our technology and products.
• Work closely with engineering and design teams to understand end-user requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
• Dive into complex problems and deliver results on schedule, showcasing your problem-solving skills.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in iOS development with a strong focus on Swift and SwiftUI.
• Familiarity with cloud messaging APIs and push notifications.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Proficient in version control using GIT.
• Nice to have: experience with Docker, Kubernetes, caching (Redis), and web load balancing.
• A degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a relevant field is preferred.
