Remote Scheduler - Medical Office
About the Role
We are seeking a Remote Scheduler to join our team at The Rose Imaging Center. In this role, you will be responsible for managing patient inquiries, scheduling appointments, and ensuring a smooth workflow in our medical office. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to patient care while working remotely.
What You'll Do
- Answer phone calls and emails from patients, providing information and scheduling appointments.
- Input customer data into company systems accurately and efficiently.
- Organize workflow by reading and routing correspondence, collecting customer information, and managing assignments.
- Handle special projects, including BIRADS 0 and BIRADS 3 lists, online appointments, and automated confirmations.
- Return messages from appointment voicemails and inquiries through the Contact Us website.
- Perform cross-training as needed and assist with other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent with 3-5 years of scheduling experience in a medical office.
- Knowledge of insurance processes and multi-test scheduling is required.
- Must be multitask-oriented and able to handle various responsibilities simultaneously.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is required.
- Willingness to participate in continuing education programs to enhance job-related skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Familiarity with medical terminology.
