About the Role

We are hiring a Remote Sales Development Representative to join our dynamic team at 2U. Our mission is to make learning limitless, and as a Sales Development Representative, you will play a crucial role in generating interest in our educational offerings. This position is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere while contributing to our goal of delivering world-class higher education at scale.

What You'll Do

  • Generate leads and qualify prospects through targeted outreach efforts.
  • Utilize outreach tools, Salesforce, cold calling, and email to create new sales opportunities.
  • Identify and understand prospect needs to suggest appropriate products and services.
  • Set up meetings or calls between prospective customers and our Business Development Managers.
  • Maintain accurate records of all activities and ensure database accuracy.
  • Communicate effectively with customers to foster relationships and drive engagement.
  • Manage a high volume of leads while maintaining exceptional customer service.
  • Work collaboratively with the sales team to meet and exceed sales targets.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in sales or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple leads and tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools such as Salesforce.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to B2B selling.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on meeting service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for education and helping others succeed.
