About the Role

We are seeking a talented Remote Proofreader/Copy Editor to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will ensure the highest quality of written content, focusing on grammar, punctuation, and style consistency. As a Remote Proofreader/Copy Editor, you will play a crucial part in enhancing our communication materials and ensuring they meet our brand standards.

What You'll Do

• Review and edit various documents for grammar, punctuation, and style as a Remote Proofreader/Copy Editor.
• Collaborate with writers and project managers to ensure content aligns with project goals.
• Implement style guides and ensure adherence to brand voice across all materials.
• Conduct fact-checking and verify the accuracy of information presented.
• Provide constructive feedback to writers to improve their writing skills.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in proofreading and copy editing, particularly in a remote setting.
• Strong understanding of grammar, punctuation, and style guidelines.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with tools such as Figma, InDesign, and Microsoft Office.
• Experience in B2B writing and technical writing is a plus.

Nice to Have

• Experience with SEO best practices for content optimization.
• Knowledge of financial terminology and technical documentation.
• Background in journalism or content creation.
