Remote Project Manager - Public Sector IT

About the Role

We are looking for a Remote Project Manager to join our dynamic team and lead complex public sector IT projects. What You'll Do

• Lead and manage public sector IT projects from initiation to closure, ensuring they meet scope, budget, and timeline.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
• Utilize Agile methodologies to enhance project delivery and operational efficiency.
• Monitor project risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
• Facilitate stakeholder communication and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Utilize tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, and Odoo for project tracking and reporting.
• Conduct regular project status meetings and provide updates to stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with public sector regulations and standards.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience as a Project Manager, preferably in public sector IT.
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and project management tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder management.
• Proficiency in budget monitoring and risk management.
• Experience with tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, and Odoo.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Java, Spring, and Spring Boot.
• Familiarity with UX design and data visualization tools.
• Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
