Remote Project Manager - Cybersecurity Focus

About the Role

We are seeking a Remote Project Manager to join our dynamic team at Guidepoint Security. In this role, you will lead projects within the cybersecurity domain, ensuring that we meet our clients' needs while adhering to best practices in project management. As a Remote Project Manager, you will work closely with stakeholders to drive project success and deliver exceptional results.

What You'll Do

• Lead and manage multiple projects in a remote environment, focusing on cybersecurity initiatives.
• Utilize Agile and Waterfall methodologies to ensure timely delivery and adherence to project goals.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, managing expectations and providing regular updates on project status.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to minimize project risks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technical support, business analysis, and solutions consulting.
• Utilize tools such as Jira and Confluence for project tracking and documentation.
• Oversee budget management and resource allocation to ensure project efficiency.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project management processes.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience as a Remote Project Manager in the cybersecurity field.
• Proven experience with Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
• Familiarity with project management tools like Jira and Confluence.
• PMP certification is a plus.
• Experience in risk management and compliance within the cybersecurity domain.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud engineering and automation tools.
• Familiarity with SIEM, SOAR, and LOG management solutions.
• Knowledge of healthcare compliance and regulations.
