Junior Specialist in Facility Management - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are looking for a Junior Specialist in Facility Management to join our team at ÖBB. This remote position allows you to play a crucial role in evaluating built and mechanical infrastructure while collaborating on facility projects. As a Junior Specialist in Facility Management, you will contribute to the maintenance and management of facilities, ensuring a safe and efficient environment.

What You'll Do

• Organize maintenance, inspections, and repairs of facilities and machinery.
• Oversee seasonal maintenance of outdoor areas and cleaning services.
• Conduct performance and invoice checks for services rendered.
• Act as a liaison between various stakeholders, including clients and authorities.
• Participate in the analysis and evaluation of facilities, buildings, and safety measures to enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Technical or economic education, preferably with a high school diploma.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in facility management.
• Knowledge of construction and mechanical systems.
• Ability to work independently, structured, and analytically.
• Excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness to take on additional responsibilities and be on-call as needed.

Nice to Have

• Experience with SAP or similar management software.
• Fluency in German and English.
• Previous experience in a similar role within the transportation sector.
