Remote Project Director - Campus Action Planning

About the Role

We are looking for a Remote Project Director to lead our Campus Action Planning initiative. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of civic engagement within higher education institutions across the United States. As a Remote Project Director, you will play a crucial role in fostering democratic principles and enhancing civic participation among students.

What You'll Do

• Lead the Campus Action Plan for Civic & Community Engagement (CAP) Project, focusing on developing and implementing strategies for civic engagement.
• Organize and facilitate Call-to-Action Symposia and CAP Institutes, both virtual and in-person, to engage campus leadership teams.
• Collaborate with diverse stakeholders to advance equitable partnerships and integrate civic engagement into curricula.
• Provide technical support and resources to colleges and universities to enhance their community engagement efforts.
• Monitor and evaluate project outcomes to ensure accountability and sustainability of initiatives.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in project management, preferably in higher education or community engagement.
• Strong understanding of civic engagement principles and practices.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience in leading teams and facilitating collaborative efforts.

Nice to Have

• Experience in grant writing and fundraising.
