Blasting Engineer - Remote Opportunities

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Blasting Engineer to join our team at NCC. This Blasting Engineer remote position offers an exciting opportunity to work on some of the most complex construction projects in Sweden. You will play a crucial role in planning and executing blasting operations, ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

What You'll Do

• Independently plan and execute blasting operations for various projects.
• Document and report on blasting activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
• Collaborate with project managers and clients to maintain strong relationships.
• Utilize your expertise in blasting techniques to enhance project outcomes.
• Work primarily in western Sweden, with potential assignments in other regions.

Requirements

• Completion of a basic blasting technology course; additional qualifications are a plus.
• Experience as a responsible blasting engineer on construction projects is preferred.
• Strong interest in the blasting profession, even with less experience, is welcomed.
• Proficient in using technology and must possess a valid B driver's license.
• Ability to work independently and drive projects forward.

Nice to Have

• Previous experience in a supervisory role within blasting operations.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in construction.
• Strong communication skills to foster client relationships.
