About the Role

We’re looking for a Remote Product Engineer to join our team at Hemi, where you'll help build tools that support patients and therapists. This role is perfect for someone who is excited about making a real difference in mental wellness and enjoys working closely with a small, hands-on team.

What You'll Do

  • Build and improve patient-facing and clinician-facing product features as a Remote Product Engineer.
  • Own the frontend implementation of key user journeys, ensuring a seamless user experience.
  • Collaborate closely with UX and product teams to translate complex workflows into clear, maintainable code.
  • Contribute to backend or API work when needed, showcasing your versatility as a Remote Product Engineer.
  • Take responsibility for the quality of what you ship, caring about both the 'what' and the 'how' of your work.

Requirements

  • Strong experience with React Native and TypeScript.
  • Solid frontend fundamentals and a keen eye for UX quality.
  • A product-minded approach with curiosity about users and clear communication skills.
  • Comfortable using English in daily work communication.
  • High integrity, ownership, and accountability, with experience working in startups or scale-ups.

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with Kubernetes or cloud infrastructure.
  • Experience in regulated or data-sensitive environments.
  • Experience building multi-sided platforms.
  • Familiarity with tools such as VS Code, Opencode AI, GitHub, GitHub Actions, Linear, Figma, Slack, Google Workspace, Sentry, Metabase, and Mixpanel.
