Remote Product Engineer - AuthKit Development

About the Role

We are looking for a Remote Product Engineer to join our AuthKit team at WorkOS. As a Remote Product Engineer, you will play a crucial role in building tools and services that help developers implement authentication and identity solutions. This position is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere while collaborating with a distributed team across North America.

What You'll Do

• Design and engineer delightful developer and end-user experiences for AuthKit.
• Build a deep understanding of AuthKit’s market position and work to increase its adoption.
• Accrete developer trust by delivering a highly available and secure product.
• Engage with customers regularly to gather feedback, debug issues, and eliminate friction points.
• Collaborate with other product teams and solutions engineering to enhance product offerings.
• Work directly with leadership on innovative greenfield ideas.
• Assist in recruiting and assessing future engineering team members.

Requirements

• 5+ years of industry software development experience.
• Experience working on small teams in fast-paced environments.
• Strong background in crafting polished UI/UX and API services end-to-end.
• Intellectually curious, independently driven, and passionate about creating great products.
• Possess a growth mindset, high emotional intelligence, and strong communication skills.
• Bonus: Experience with TypeScript, React, and Postgres.
• Bonus: Familiarity with B2B SaaS, developer tools, or related industries.
