What You'll Do

• Take ownership of design projects from brainstorming and sketching to prototyping and implementation.
• Produce high-fidelity visuals that maintain consistency across applications and adhere to platform conventions.
• Collaborate closely with developers to ensure high-quality implementation and an exceptional user experience.
• Effectively communicate conceptual ideas and design rationale to the wider development team.
• Facilitate design exercises that promote participatory and iterative design techniques.
• Work with design and product leadership to influence the future direction of Esri's field applications.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in designing applications, particularly for mobile platforms.
• Expert knowledge of user-centered design principles and platform interface guidelines.
• Proficient in design software such as Sketch or Figma.
• Experience in creating diagrams, wireframes, and prototypes.
• Strong communication skills to articulate design concepts effectively.

Nice to Have

• Experience in geospatial technology or GIS applications.
