About the Role

We are seeking a talented Remote Product Designer to join our team at OnePay. As a Remote Product Designer, you will play a crucial role in shaping the customer journeys that define how people manage their finances. Your mission will be to transform complex financial tasks into simple, user-friendly experiences, making financial progress accessible to everyone.

What You'll Do

  • Design and ship end-to-end experiences across OnePay’s product surfaces.
  • Translate goals and requirements into clear, intuitive interfaces.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and brand partners to bring innovative ideas to life.
  • Utilize and evolve our design system in partnership with the Core Design team.
  • Contribute to critiques and reviews that elevate the quality and clarity of our designs.
  • Work with intent, learn quickly, refine often, and ship regularly.

Requirements

  • 3–7 years of experience designing for digital products, preferably with a mobile-first approach.
  • A portfolio demonstrating clarity of thought, solid interaction design, and attention to detail.
  • Fluency in Figma and comfort working within established design systems.
  • Strong communication skills to articulate reasoning and trade-offs effectively.
  • Curiosity about product functionality and how design influences business outcomes.
  • Ability to manage ambiguity, prioritize tasks effectively, and see projects through to completion.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in the financial services sector or related fields.
  • Familiarity with user research methodologies.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
