Inside Sales Specialist - Scientific Solutions

About the Role

We are hiring an Inside Sales Specialist to join our team at LGC Standards, focusing on scientific solutions in the life sciences sector. This Inside Sales Specialist role offers a unique opportunity to drive growth, build relationships, and make an impact in the pharmaceutical, biotech, environmental, and industrial sectors. You will be working in a hybrid environment, with the flexibility to work remotely while also engaging with clients in person one day a week.

What You'll Do

  • Manage transactional accounts and represent the entire LGC Standards product portfolio across multiple industries, focusing primarily on the Polish and Eastern European market.
  • Identify and close new sales opportunities through proactive prospecting and lead qualification.
  • Engage with clients via email, phone, and virtual meetings to convert leads, follow up on quotes, and drive new business.
  • Apply LGC’s sales tools and digital capabilities for territory planning, lead nurturing, and sales growth.
  • Collaborate with marketing to launch new products and stay ahead of competitor activity and industry trends.
  • Ensure outstanding customer support by managing service cases effectively and maintaining response time SLAs.

Requirements

  • Higher education in any relevant scientific field (e.g., Pharmaceutical, Life Sciences, Environmental or Industrial Sciences, Chemistry, or similar).
  • Proven track record in selling technical products for research or analytical laboratories.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, commercial environment.
  • Strong lead generation and account management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in Polish and fluent English (B2 or higher).

  • Industry experience in life sciences or related fields.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with marketing and sales teams.
