About the Role
We are seeking a Remote Payroll Operations Manager to lead our payroll operations across the APAC region. In this role, you will oversee payroll processing, ensure compliance with local regulations, and manage a team dedicated to delivering exceptional payroll services. What You'll Do
- Manage and oversee payroll operations for the APAC region, ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing.
- Implement and maintain payroll best practices, ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations.
- Lead a team of payroll specialists, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Collaborate with HR and finance teams to streamline payroll processes and improve efficiency.
- Utilize SAP and Excel to manage payroll data and generate reports for management review.
- Address and resolve payroll-related inquiries from employees and management.
- Develop and deliver training programs for team members on payroll operations and compliance.
- Continuously assess and enhance payroll systems and processes to improve accuracy and efficiency.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in payroll operations or management, preferably in a remote setting.
- Strong knowledge of payroll compliance and best practices in the APAC region.
- Experience with payroll software, particularly SAP, and proficiency in Excel.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proven leadership and team management experience.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote environment.
- Experience in customer relationship management and account management is a plus.
