Remote Medical Director - Healthcare Management

About the Role

We are seeking a Remote Medical Director to lead our healthcare management initiatives and drive quality improvement across our organization. As a Remote Medical Director, you will collaborate with various stakeholders to enhance healthcare delivery systems and improve patient outcomes.

What You'll Do

• Lead the development and implementation of medical management strategies.
• Oversee utilization management and quality improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to enhance service delivery and patient care.
• Manage contract negotiations and provider relations to ensure optimal service agreements.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree with relevant experience in medical management.
• 5+ years of experience in a leadership role within healthcare.
• Strong understanding of healthcare delivery systems and quality improvement methodologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with Medicaid and healthcare compliance regulations.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with Workday and other healthcare management software.
• Experience in pediatrics or family medicine.
