About the Role

We are seeking a Remote Legal Counsel – Contract & Commercial Affairs to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will provide essential legal support for contract negotiations and commercial affairs, ensuring compliance with EU and German law. What You'll Do

  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, including SaaS agreements and procurement agreements.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement technology-driven legal solutions.
  • Engage with stakeholders to ensure alignment on legal matters and business objectives.
  • Participate in shaping legal operations and contribute to the development of AI-assisted solutions for legal processes.
  • Monitor changes in legislation and advise the company on compliance with GDPR and ISO 27001 standards.
  • Work closely with leading automotive manufacturers to support their legal needs in electric vehicle charging initiatives.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience as a Legal Counsel, preferably in contract and commercial law.
  • Strong knowledge of EU and German law, particularly in technology and regulatory compliance.
  • Experience with legal software and technology strategy in legal operations.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in English; knowledge of German is a plus.
  • Experience in the automotive or technology sector is highly desirable.
