About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Remote Legal Assistant - Mass Torts to join The Wilhite Law Firm, a dynamic legal practice focused on providing exceptional support to clients. This fully remote position allows you to work from anywhere while contributing to a collaborative and detail-oriented team. As a Legal Assistant, you will play a crucial role in managing a large inventory of client cases, ensuring effective communication and organization.

What You'll Do

• Support paralegals and attorneys with client case management.
• Communicate with clients regarding their cases.
• Request and review medical records to ensure accuracy.
• Maintain case data using FileVine, ensuring all information is up-to-date.
• Assist with court filings and discovery processes.
• Organize and route correspondence efficiently.
• Conduct quality checks on documents to uphold standards.
• Work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Requirements

• Dependable and self-motivated with a strong attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage high-volume tasks effectively.
• Experience with case management software is a plus.
• Associate’s degree or paralegal coursework preferred.
• Relevant experience in a legal setting is helpful.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Adobe PDF.
• Previous experience in mass torts or similar legal fields.
