What You'll Do

• Lead a team of 3-6 engineers, balancing hands-on technical leadership with effective people management.
• Drive the execution of critical features while evolving engineering practices to enhance team velocity and quality.
• Contribute directly to code and architecture, ensuring best practices are followed.
• Coach and mentor team members to grow their skills and adopt modern development methodologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align engineering efforts with business objectives.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the engineering team.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Proven track record of leading engineering teams and delivering high-quality software products.
• Strong technical background in software development, including experience with modern programming languages and frameworks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Passion for education and a desire to make a positive impact on student success.
