Remote Director of Community & Developer Advocacy

About the Role

We are hiring a Remote Director of Community & Developer Advocacy to lead the charge in building a vibrant community around Tines. This role is pivotal as you will create a thriving technical builder community, enhancing our developer advocacy efforts and driving growth through community engagement.

What You'll Do

• Own the community strategy, operating model, and platform decisions, launching and driving early momentum.
• Build core community programs such as office hours, AMAs, challenges, and champions to foster engagement.
• Oversee the templates and library end-to-end, ensuring high-quality standards through a rigorous review process.
• Establish a technical content pipeline that includes intake, prioritization, creation, QA, publishing, curation, and maintenance.
• Develop a bottom-up contributor motion involving customers, champions, and partners to sustainably scale our templates and library.
• Collaborate with the Growth and Product teams to create strong feedback loops that enhance user activation.
• Work with Support to ensure the community is genuinely useful from day one, implementing clear escalation and coverage models.
• Partner with Marketing to effectively package and amplify community initiatives.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in community building, developer advocacy, or related fields.
• Proven track record of creating and scaling community programs.
• Strong understanding of technical content creation and management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across teams and departments.

Nice to Have

• Experience with API integrations and technical workflows.
• Familiarity with tools and platforms used for community engagement.
• Background in marketing or growth strategies.
