About the Role

We are looking for a talented Remote Data Scientist to join our dynamic team at Mumba Technologies, Inc. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in Python, SQL, and Tableau to build and deploy data science models while enhancing our reporting solutions. As a Remote Data Scientist, you will play a crucial role in transforming data into actionable insights that drive business decisions.

What You'll Do

  • Design, build, validate, and deploy predictive and statistical models using Python and Snowflake.
  • Perform advanced exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities.
  • Develop forecasting, classification, or regression models aligned with business needs.
  • Clean, transform, and structure large datasets for modeling and analysis.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define business problems and analytical approaches.
  • Present insights and recommendations clearly to non-technical audiences.
  • Write complex SQL queries involving joins, aggregations, and performance optimization.
  • Build structured datasets and data marts for analytics and reporting.
  • Design, build, and enhance Tableau dashboards and reports.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field.
  • 4–6 years of experience in Data Science, Analytics, or Business Intelligence roles.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL with the ability to independently write complex queries.
  • Hands-on experience with Python for modeling and data analysis.
  • Proven experience building and deploying machine learning models.
  • Strong experience creating and modifying dashboards in Tableau.
  • Solid understanding of statistics, predictive modeling, and data validation techniques.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with data engineering and improving data pipelines.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
  • Knowledge of additional data visualization tools.
