About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Remote Consumer Collection Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing consumer accounts, ensuring timely collections, and providing exceptional customer service. As a Remote Consumer Collection Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of our organization while working from the comfort of your home.

What You'll Do

• Manage consumer accounts and oversee the collection process to ensure timely payments.
• Communicate effectively with customers to negotiate payment plans and resolve outstanding balances.
• Utilize analytical skills to assess accounts and identify trends in payment behavior.
• Document all interactions with customers in our system accurately and efficiently.
• Collaborate with team members to improve collection strategies and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Provide support for chargeback operations and assist with accounts receivable management.
• Stay updated on industry regulations and company policies related to collections.
• Participate in training sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge in collections and customer service.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in finance or business is a plus.
• 1-2 years of experience in collections or customer service.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with financial software.
• Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Nice to Have

• Experience in healthcare finance or medical billing.
• Knowledge of HCPC coding and revenue cycle management.
• Familiarity with .NET Core and C# is a plus.
