About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Remote Consumer Collection Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing consumer accounts, ensuring timely collections, and providing exceptional customer service. As a Remote Consumer Collection Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of our organization while working from the comfort of your home.
What You'll Do
- Manage consumer accounts and oversee the collection process to ensure timely payments.
- Communicate effectively with customers to negotiate payment plans and resolve outstanding balances.
- Utilize analytical skills to assess accounts and identify trends in payment behavior.
- Document all interactions with customers in our system accurately and efficiently.
- Collaborate with team members to improve collection strategies and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Provide support for chargeback operations and assist with accounts receivable management.
- Stay updated on industry regulations and company policies related to collections.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge in collections and customer service.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in finance or business is a plus.
- 1-2 years of experience in collections or customer service.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with financial software.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
Nice to Have
- Experience in healthcare finance or medical billing.
- Knowledge of HCPC coding and revenue cycle management.
- Familiarity with .NET Core and C# is a plus.
