Remote Carrier Messaging Compliance Lead
About the Role
We are seeking a Remote Carrier Messaging Compliance Lead to join our team at EZ Texting. This role is pivotal in ensuring our messaging platform remains secure and compliant while enabling safe growth. As a Remote Carrier Messaging Compliance Lead, you will support our Carrier Operations team in navigating complex fraud, abuse, and regulatory challenges.
What You'll Do
- Guide the Carrier Operations team in addressing complex customer, fraud, and abuse-related activities.
- Develop guidelines, best practices, and training to protect EZ Texting and its customers.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for escalated customer complaints and requests.
- Stay updated on industry standards, regulatory requirements, and changes to federal laws.
- Conduct independent reviews and assessments of customer requests and sending practices to ensure compliance.
- Develop processes and automation to ensure business continuity for compliant customers.
- Maintain effective relationships with cross-functional partners.
- Manage the inventory of Short Codes to control operational costs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher.
- 5+ years in fraud or abuse detection and mitigation.
- 3+ years in a customer-facing role.
- 2+ years of experience in the SMS/MMS industry.
- Understanding of SMS and MMS technologies, including short code provisioning and carrier regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.

- Experience with compliance-related audits.
- Familiarity with TCPA and CTIA regulations.
- Experience in developing training programs.

Who Will Succeed Here

Ability to effectively navigate complex customer relations scenarios while maintaining regulatory compliance, especially in a remote work environment that requires self-motivation and proactive problem-solving.
