About the Role

We are seeking a Regulatory Legal Counsel remote to join our dynamic team at Crypto.com. In this role, you will conduct in-depth legal research and analysis on regulatory and policy issues related to the crypto industry and blockchain technology. Your expertise will be crucial in providing sound legal guidance and advice on tech-related financial regulation and crypto matters.

What You'll Do

• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis on regulatory issues in the crypto and blockchain sectors.
• Provide legal guidance on financial regulations and compliance for crypto-related activities.
• Draft and review legal documents and agreements focused on corporate, litigation, and regulatory matters.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product and engineering, to ensure legal compliance.
• Represent Crypto.com in negotiations with regulators and industry stakeholders.
• Stay updated on legal and regulatory developments in the crypto landscape.
• Share insights and recommendations with the legal team and key stakeholders.
• Interact with regulators as necessary to ensure compliance and understanding of regulations.

Requirements

• 5-8 years of experience as a lawyer, focusing on financial regulation and regulatory affairs.
• Qualified to practice in the UAE.
• Excellent drafting and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex legal concepts clearly.
• Familiarity with financial products and relevant licensing requirements.
• Adept at working in a fast-paced startup environment, both independently and collaboratively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for practical legal advice.

• Experience in the crypto industry or blockchain technology.
• Knowledge of smart contracts and decentralized applications.
• Proficiency in using AI tools for legal analysis.
