About the Role

We are seeking a talented Quantitative Developer to join our innovative team at GSR, a leader in cryptocurrency trading. This Quantitative Developer remote position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and contribute to high-performance trading systems that drive strategy execution and profitability.

What You'll Do

  • Design, develop, and maintain a low-latency trading system in Rust.
  • Collaborate with traders, engineers, and quants to implement trading strategies within market-making, prop, and OTC.
  • Build new tools and infrastructure to facilitate research, including analytics and optimization.
  • Automate the deployment and monitoring of trading strategies.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in real-time.

Requirements

  • Minimum of one year experience developing in Rust; proficiency will be tested.
  • Familiarity with core trading strategies such as market-making and arbitrage.
  • Strong understanding of algorithms and data structures, as well as quantitative finance concepts like limit-order books and market microstructure.
  • Experience with real-time data processing and low-allocation/zero-copy design.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field; a PhD is preferred.

Nice to Have

  • Prior experience in high-frequency trading or electronic trading environments.
