Quantitative Developer - Remote Opportunity in Cryptocurrency Trading
About the Role
We are seeking a talented Quantitative Developer to join our innovative team at GSR, a leader in cryptocurrency trading. This Quantitative Developer remote position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and contribute to high-performance trading systems that drive strategy execution and profitability.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain a low-latency trading system in Rust.
- Collaborate with traders, engineers, and quants to implement trading strategies within market-making, prop, and OTC.
- Build new tools and infrastructure to facilitate research, including analytics and optimization.
- Automate the deployment and monitoring of trading strategies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in real-time.
Requirements
- Minimum of one year experience developing in Rust; proficiency will be tested.
- Familiarity with core trading strategies such as market-making and arbitrage.
- Strong understanding of algorithms and data structures, as well as quantitative finance concepts like limit-order books and market microstructure.
- Experience with real-time data processing and low-allocation/zero-copy design.
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field; a PhD is preferred.

- Prior experience in high-frequency trading or electronic trading environments.
