About the Role

We are seeking a QA Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team in Lisbon, Portugal. This QA Automation Engineer remote position offers an exciting opportunity to advance your career with comprehensive relocation support. You will design, develop, and maintain automated test suites, ensuring high-quality software delivery.

What You'll Do

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for web applications, mobile apps (iOS/Android), and APIs.
  • Implement cross-platform testing to ensure consistency in test quality and reporting.
  • Contribute to the development of test automation frameworks using tools such as Playwright and Selenium.
  • Collaborate with the Platform team to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Execute functional, regression, performance, and load testing for complex workflows.
  • Identify, log, and track defects through to resolution, providing clear feedback to developers.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in automated testing across web, mobile, and APIs.
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Kotlin, TypeScript, or Ruby.
  • Experience with API testing using tools like Postman or RestAssured.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline integration using tools like GitHub Actions or CircleCI.
  • Experience in building or extending test automation frameworks.
  • Understanding of QA methodologies, including functional and regression testing.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with cloud-based testing environments like BrowserStack.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and participation in sprint planning.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to troubleshoot issues across multiple platforms.
