Project Leader - Online Collaboration and Infrastructure

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Project Leader - Online Collaboration and Infrastructure to join our team at Los Alamos National Laboratory. This role offers the opportunity to work in a hybrid environment, combining onsite and remote work, while leading critical projects that support national security. As a Project Leader, you will be responsible for managing product backlogs and implementing Agile methodologies to ensure successful project execution.

What You'll Do

• Lead the planning and execution of IT product delivery, applying Product Owner principles to develop and maintain product roadmaps.
• Prioritize and refine product backlogs, define user stories, and support the development of schedules, milestones, and resource estimates.
• Facilitate Agile/Scrum practices and utilize Azure DevOps for backlog management and tracking.
• Analyze and document end-to-end workflows to ensure efficiency and alignment with business needs.
• Communicate product status, requirements, and deliverables to management and stakeholders across multiple divisions.
• Provide exceptional customer service by resolving issues and ensuring a positive experience for all stakeholders.
• Support Quality Assurance Testing (QAT) to validate successful implementation of products.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and coordinate with team members to develop recommendations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited institution.
• 2+ years of experience in project management or product ownership in a Scrum environment.
• Proficiency with Agile project management tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to effectively prioritize competing demands.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and professionally.
• Demonstrated capability to interact effectively with personnel at all levels.
• Experience leading complex, multi-team initiatives is a plus.

• Active DOE "Q" clearance.
• Scrum Master Certification (CSM) or Scrum Product Owner Certification (CSPO).
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
