Project Applications Engineer - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a Project Applications Engineer to join our innovative team at Schréder. This remote Project Applications Engineer position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the successful delivery of Signature Projects, enhancing your technical skills and providing a pathway for career progression.

What You'll Do

• Manage Signature projects from conception to delivery, ensuring alignment with customer needs and company standards.
• Review customer specifications and tailor solutions to meet project requirements effectively.
• Generate comprehensive project proposals, including scope documents and accurate pricing.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders to foster collaboration.
• Support the commercial sales team by providing technical insights during customer meetings.
• Produce high-quality presentations and visuals to communicate project solutions effectively.
• Conduct site visits and provide technical support during project commissioning.
• Ensure all deliverables meet contractual requirements in terms of quality, budget, and timelines.

Requirements

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong commercial awareness and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work collaboratively across teams.
• Educated to degree level or equivalent.
• Minimum 18 months of experience supporting sales teams and customers.
• Familiarity with CAD software and Microsoft 365 applications.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new software as needed.

Nice to Have

• Experience in product and/or lighting design.
• Knowledge of SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Photoshop, Lighting Reality, and DIALux.
• A valid driving license and ability to travel across the UK.
