Production Operative - Food Industry

Sofina Foods is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our production team as a Production Operative. This is a hands-on role where your focus on quality, efficiency, and hygiene will directly contribute to delivering premium food products to our customers. What You'll Do

• Cutting and trimming meat to exact specifications.
• Adjusting machinery settings to meet product requirements.
• Inspecting products for quality, including size, weight, color, and packaging.
• Identifying faults and resolving or reporting issues promptly.
• Preparing goods for dispatch, including packing, labeling, and wrapping.
• Supporting goods in/goods out processes.
• Maintaining strict food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards.
• Performing additional tasks as trained and required.

Requirements

• Strong communication skills with the capability to communicate confidently internally & externally.
• Good team working skills with the ability to participate in a team atmosphere through hard work, calmness, tolerance, and consistency.
• Able to work within an agreed established framework and cope with pressure, taking responsibility for decisions and able to work unsupervised and on their own initiative.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to report accurately.
• Excellent people skills, ability to listen and accept and learn from constructive criticism.
• Tactical thought process, able to challenge convention and identify alternative ways of working.
• IT literate (relevant levels for scope of role).
• High levels of professionalism, integrity, and ethical awareness.
