What You'll Do

• Lead an agile team of Software Engineers, guiding them to achieve their goals while defining the team’s path to success.
• Coach and mentor team members using suitable coaching frameworks to foster growth and development.
• Own complex use cases or tasks, designing and coding solutions with the most suitable programming languages and technologies.
• Contribute to the overall architecture by designing, documenting, and implementing high-quality, secure solutions that meet customer requirements.
• Facilitate engineering excellence through coaching on best practices and creating accountability among team members regarding security and testing practices.
• Oversee the technical delivery roadmap, proactively identifying blockers and working with the team to resolve challenges.
• Collaborate with Product Owners to prioritize the backlog, set delivery goals, and manage dependencies across stakeholders.
• Promote a product-focused mindset within the team and encourage experimentation with new practices and technologies.

Requirements

• A minimum of five years of software development experience in a commercial environment.
• Proven experience in providing technical leadership to software engineers for enterprise-scale projects.
• In-depth knowledge of agile software delivery and DevOps practices.
• Experience in collaborating closely with Product Owners and customer stakeholders.
• Extensive coaching and mentoring experience, implementing engineering excellence best practices.
• Strong technical communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with the Well-Architected Framework.
