Principal Software Engineer - Remote

As a Principal Software Engineer, you will be instrumental in designing and implementing secure, large-scale enterprise applications that utilize cloud technologies. What You'll Do

• Plan, define, design, implement, and maintain solution architecture for identity and access management in public and private cloud environments.
• Adopt and implement guidelines using open standard identity protocols such as OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and SAML 2.0.
• Assess and enhance the overall security posture of identity platforms and cloud environments.
• Drive architectural initiatives that align business needs with technical capabilities for Identity Management solutions.
• Research and promote proactive security concepts to improve existing security strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver hyper-personalized digital solutions that empower consumers in their healthcare journeys.
• Utilize your expertise in Java, SpringBoot, and RESTful Web Services to develop robust applications.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on best practices in software development.

Requirements

• 8+ years of hands-on technical experience in implementing secure large-scale enterprise applications or SaaS platforms using cloud technologies.
• 6+ years of relevant experience in Identity & Access Management and Information Security.
• 3+ years of experience with OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML 2.0, and related technologies.
• 3+ years of development experience in Java, SpringBoot, and Microservices.
• Strong knowledge of security protocols, threat modeling, and vulnerability management.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python and PowerShell.
• Familiarity with web application architectures and cloud computing.
• Demonstrable experience in Site Reliability Engineering and DDoS mitigation techniques.

Nice to Have

• AWS Certifications.
• Experience with IAM products like SailPoint, ForgeRock, or Okta.
• Knowledge of security compliance standards such as HIPAA and NIST.
• Experience in healthcare industry applications development.
