Power BI Expert - Remote Position

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Power BI Expert to join our team remotely. As a Power BI Expert, you will play a crucial role in building interactive dashboards and reports that drive data-driven decisions across the organization. Your expertise will help transform complex datasets into actionable insights, supporting strategic initiatives.

What You'll Do

• Build interactive Power BI dashboards and reports that support data-driven decisions.
• Design and maintain scalable data models (star schema) for efficient business analytics.
• Develop advanced DAX measures to support complex reporting requirements.
• Transform and prepare data using Power Query (M) and integrate multiple data sources (SQL databases, APIs, Excel).
• Optimize report performance and implement Row-Level Security (RLS) to ensure secure data access.
• Publish, manage, and maintain reports in Power BI Service while collaborating with business stakeholders to translate data into insights.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Power BI and Business Intelligence.
• Strong expertise in data modeling and DAX.
• Experience working with Power Query (M) and SQL.
• Hands-on experience with Power BI Service, data refresh, and gateways.
• Ability to analyze complex datasets and translate them into insights.
• Strong analytical thinking and stakeholder communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Azure, Microsoft Fabric, or modern data platforms.
• Familiarity with ETL pipelines and data workflows.
• Experience integrating Python or R into analytics environments.
