About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join our team at the Los Angeles Center for Ear, Nose, Throat and Allergy. This remote opportunity allows you to work with a large private ENT group that operates across the greater LA area. As a Physician Assistant, you will play a crucial role in enhancing patient care and satisfaction while working collaboratively with our experienced team of healthcare professionals.

What You'll Do

  • Identify and address short-term and long-range patient care issues, providing valuable insights and recommendations.
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments through interviews and physical examinations, ensuring comprehensive care.
  • Administer and interpret diagnostic tests, including x-rays and laboratory studies, to determine patient conditions.
  • Document patient care services accurately in patient and department records, maintaining clear communication.
  • Instruct and counsel patients on therapeutic regimens, promoting wellness and health maintenance.
  • Develop and implement patient management plans to ensure continuity of care.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.
  • Stay updated on legal and professional requirements, advising management on necessary actions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (B.S.) from an accredited PA Program.
  • Licensed as a Physician Assistant in California.
  • National Certification with NCCPA.
  • 1-2 years of ENT experience preferred.
  • Strong clinical skills, thoroughness, and a good bedside manner.
  • Ability to manage infection control and administer medication effectively.
  • Physical ability to lift and move up to 20 lbs periodically.
  • Willingness to travel to clinic locations as needed.
