Payroll Lead - Remote Position

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Payroll Lead - Remote to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will oversee payroll operations and ensure compliance with global payroll best practices. As a Payroll Lead, you will play a crucial role in managing payroll processes across multiple states and countries, leveraging your expertise in payroll management systems such as SAP and ADP WFN.

What You'll Do

• Lead the payroll team to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing for employees across various jurisdictions.
• Implement and maintain payroll systems and processes, including automation and risk management strategies.
• Coordinate with HR and finance teams to ensure compliance with payroll regulations and best practices.
• Utilize analytical skills to resolve payroll discrepancies and improve payroll operations.
• Provide training and support to team members on payroll-related issues and software.
• Manage vendor relationships and coordinate with external partners for payroll services.
• Develop and execute payroll strategies that enhance customer retention and satisfaction.
• Stay updated on changes in payroll legislation and ensure compliance across all operations.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in payroll management, with a focus on US payroll operations.
• Strong knowledge of payroll software, including SAP and ADP WFN.
• Experience in a PEO environment and multi-state payroll management.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in Excel and Google Sheets for payroll analysis and reporting.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Experience in change management and process improvement initiatives.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote setting.

Nice to Have

• Experience with EU payroll transformation.
• Familiarity with financial processes and compliance regulations.
• Project management experience in payroll-related projects.
