About the Role

Join the Walt Disney World Resort as a Part-Time Transportation Bus Driver. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and comfort of our guests as they travel throughout our parks and resorts. As a Transportation Bus Driver, you will observe Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and other state and local traffic laws. This position is perfect for individuals who are passionate about providing exceptional service and maintaining a safe environment.

What You'll Do

  • Safely operate buses and passenger vans while adhering to all safety regulations.
  • Perform vehicle inspections and ensure cleanliness and presentation of vehicles at all times.
  • Assist guests with boarding and provide a warm welcome as they enter the vehicle.
  • Communicate safety information and other relevant details to guests using a microphone.
  • Maintain knowledge of all routes within the Walt Disney World Resort, including theme parks and hotels.
  • Handle emergency situations with professionalism and care.
  • Interact with a professional motor vehicle software system.
  • Assist guests with accessibility needs, including operating lifts and securing wheelchairs.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age due to licensed driving requirements.
  • At least 5 years of valid licensed operating experience, with the last three years in the United States.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Proven record of following state and federal motor vehicle regulations.
  • Must meet Department of Transportation Physical Standards and Regulations.
  • Availability for the first 8-12 weeks of training.
  • Possession of a valid Florida Driver’s License.
  • Willingness to obtain a Florida CDL with Passenger Endorsement if hired.

Nice to Have

  • Bilingual candidates are preferred.
  • Previous experience as a bus driver is a plus.
