Part-Time Technical SEO & Web Operations Contractor

About the Role

We are seeking a highly accountable Part-Time Technical SEO & Web Operations Contractor to oversee and optimize our web ecosystem. This role is crucial for ensuring that all web properties are technically sound, properly configured, and aligned under one unified strategy. As a Technical SEO & Web Operations Contractor, you will work remotely and report directly to the marketing team, dedicating 5-10 hours per week to this vital position.

What You'll Do

• Perform initial full audits of our web properties and provide actionable recommendations.
• Conduct ongoing technical audits to identify crawl, indexing, schema, performance, and structural issues.
• Monitor Google Search Console and other SEO tools to ensure optimal performance.
• Ensure proper configuration of GA4, tag manager, cookies, and event tracking.
• Translate technical findings into clear documentation for engineering teams.
• Provide ongoing reports summarizing performance, risks, and wins.
• Maintain a long-term technical SEO roadmap to ensure consistency across all properties.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in technical SEO and web infrastructure.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
• Deep understanding of GA4, Google Tag Manager, and Search Console.
• Experience with Docusaurus or documentation-based sites is preferred.
• Comfortable reading basic code (HTML, structured data, site configs).
• Proactive and ownership-driven, able to operate independently.
