Order Selector - Remote Opportunity
About the Role
We are seeking an Order Selector remote to join our dynamic team at Performance Food Group. This role is essential in ensuring the efficient flow of products through our distribution process while maintaining quality standards. You will play a key role in supporting America’s food distribution system, with opportunities for growth and development.
What You'll Do
- Review work schedules and obtain necessary supplies to prepare for operations as an Order Selector remote.
- Perform safety checks on equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and safety gear while operating machinery.
- Select and move products between the loading dock and warehouse, ensuring accurate order fulfillment.
- Transport completed orders to the shipping dock staging area using electric pallet jacks or forklifts.
- Maintain productivity and accuracy standards as per company guidelines.
- Report any unsafe conditions immediately to ensure a safe working environment.
- Complete necessary paperwork and secure all equipment at the end of the shift.
Requirements
- Ability to work scheduled shifts, including required overtime.
- Physical capability to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift products weighing between 10-35 lbs regularly and up to 60-100 lbs as needed.
- Experience working in multi-temperature environments (dry, cooler, freezer).
- Must pass a post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
- Ability to become EPJ certified during the new-hire training period.
- Willingness to complete required training independently.
Nice to Have
- 6 months of warehouse and/or distribution experience using a motorized pallet jack.
