OPS Regulatory Specialist III - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking an OPS Regulatory Specialist III to join the Florida Department of Health. This remote opportunity allows you to contribute to the health and safety of Florida's residents while managing complex administrative tasks. As an OPS Regulatory Specialist III, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance and efficiency in our operations.

What You'll Do

• Assist in coordinating administrative tasks and assignments that are complex in nature.
• Monitor and perform accurate indexing, scanning, and quality control of investigative documents and case files.
• Review case preparation and processing, compiling investigative documents into final reports.
• Ensure deadlines are met and cases are processed according to internal timeframes.
• Maintain up-to-date records regarding investigations, inspections, and training logs.
• Act as a procurement liaison, managing purchasing card responsibilities and tracking invoices.
• Compile statistics and produce reports required by Headquarters.
• Respond to inquiries from consumers and licensees regarding investigative cases.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• One (1) year of professional experience in reviewing or auditing documents.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Knowledge of compliance management systems and licensing systems.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently.

Nice to Have

• Experience in government or health services.
• Familiarity with laws and regulations related to health and safety.
• Background in data analysis or report writing.
