Online Instructor for German as a Foreign Language - Remote
About the Role
We are seeking a passionate Online Instructor for German as a Foreign Language to join our team remotely. This role focuses on teaching integration courses for refugees, providing a unique opportunity to make a significant impact in the lives of learners. As an Online Instructor for German as a Foreign Language, you will be responsible for independent lesson planning and delivering engaging lessons that meet the needs of adult learners.
What You'll Do
- Teach and lead integration courses online, focusing on the German language.
- Prepare students for final exams such as DTZ and LiD.
- Independently design lessons using effective pedagogical methods.
- Support and supervise participants throughout their learning journey.
- Handle administrative tasks in accordance with BAMF guidelines.
- Work on a freelance basis with approximately 20 teaching units per week.
- Utilize creative freedom to implement your own ideas into the curriculum.
Requirements
- BAMF certification or equivalent qualification is required.
- Experience in teaching adults is advantageous.
- Completed or ongoing studies in German studies, linguistics, pedagogy, or BAMF certification.
- Additional qualifications in media competence or vocational language courses are a plus.
- Proven pedagogical and didactic skills are essential.
- Knowledge of the Ukrainian language is ideally preferred.

Who Will Succeed Here
