About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Network Technician to join our team in a fully remote capacity. As a Network Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving our network infrastructure, ensuring efficient operations across multiple client networks.

What You'll Do

  • Inspect and troubleshoot LAN/WAN infrastructure to resolve minor and major issues.
  • Perform diagnostics on system failures and identify bottlenecks to enhance long-term network efficiency.
  • Evaluate network performance and implement improvements.
  • Test, configure, and maintain network hardware and peripheral devices.
  • Assist end-users in identifying and resolving network-related issues.
  • Organize and schedule upgrades and maintenance without disrupting others' work.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree in Computer Networking/Engineering or related field, or 1-3 years of experience in IT.
  • Strong diagnostic, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Good knowledge of LAN/WAN networks, TCP/IP protocols, and network technologies.
  • Familiarity with OSI and TCP/IP models.
  • Understanding of network security concepts and best practices.
  • Experience with SSH and accessing network hardware via CLI.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and strong attention to detail.

Nice to Have

  • CompTIA Security+ CE certification.
  • CompTIA Network+ CE certification.
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate certification.
