About the Role

Waters Edge Lodge is currently seeking dedicated Medication Aides and/or Med Techs for both AM (6:00am-2:30pm) and PM (2:30pm-11:00pm) shifts. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Morning Medication Aide/Med Tech remote position where you will play a crucial role in our residents' well-being. As a part of our team, you will administer medications, assist with caregiving, and respond promptly to residents' needs.

What You'll Do

  • Administer medications to residents as prescribed.
  • Assist with caregiving tasks to ensure residents' comfort and safety.
  • Respond promptly to resident pull cords and alerts.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, especially the elderly.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 12 months experience or equivalent education in a healthcare environment.
  • Ability to speak English clearly to elderly residents.
  • Patience and compassion when working with cognitively impaired individuals.
  • Current COVID-19 vaccination and routine testing.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in a senior living or healthcare facility.
  • First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including on-call shifts.
